You know, the trailer shows it as a heartwarming, feel good movie, then you watch the movie(because it looks funny and uplifting) and then there is tragedy and death in the movie? I wanna know exactly what is in the movie, before I go see it! Two that I can think of that did this to us is "My Dog Skip" and "Bridge to Tarabithia". In "My Dog Skip", it showed a fun loving boy with his dog and the the dog gets hit in the head with a shovel and is mistreated, then in "Bridge to Tarabithia", (I don't wanna ruin it for anyone since it's still a new movie), but something happens that just socks you right in the gut, and ruins the movie!!! At least for me! It's not advertised to be that way! It's advertised as a lighthearted, heartwarming movie! This really bugs me. I took my kids and then we left feeling down, because of how it ended.

Well what you're complaining about is what I would consider the climax of the movie, and they aren't going to divulge that information; otherwise no one would go see it. I guess, it's a movie; it can have a surprise ending, that no one saw coming. I don't think I would classify it as misleading.

I would however classify it as misleading; as it was pointed out earlier, if the movie trailer showed all the funny scenes for the movie and your disappointed the remaining 89 minutes.

I didn't think "My Dog Skip" was misleading. I loved it! I do hate it when the only good parts of a movie are the trailers and you waste your money going and see trash. I heard about the ending of the "Bridge to Terabithia" and now I will NOT go to see that!

Actually, it does bothers me.... especially those horror movie, the trailer made it so scary but then in the real movie, there is no shock at all. What i mean is in the trailer, the ghost face suddenly pop up but then in the movie the ghost is there at the very momnet...

Yes it bugs me. I especially can't stand when they give you some hilarious scenes and then you go and see the movie....and I'll be damned if those scenes from the movie trailer are the only good scenes in the entire movie. That pisses me off. lol

yeah, I don't like that either...

like the previews for "Man of the Year" with Robin Williams made it seem like it was a really funny movie .... but it turned out to be the most boring movie and of course all the funny parts I had already seen a million times in the previews...

yes... some movies are simply ****, but when you look at the trailers then you think they are good, interesting, full of action/fun/drama (depending on which type of move you want) but when you go to the theatre and watch it, you realise that its boooring... and you want the 2 hrs of your life back:)
