It can cause halitosis (bad breath) and there won't be after dinner smoochies coz your breath could kill somebody! LOL! (-- ,)

Onion ,Compared with other fresh vegetables, has food value, moderate in protein content and is rich in calcium and riboflavin.
The odour in onion is due to organic sulfur compounds, and is produced only when the tissues are cut open .
It has a Moisture content of 86.6%, calcium 47 mg,Protein 1.2%, Phosphorus 50 mg ,Fat 0.1%, Iron 0.7 mg,Minerals 0.6%, Vitamin C and Small amounts of Vitamin B Complex,Fibre 0.4%, and Carbohydrates 11.1%.

Onion is Known its therapeutic properties. Since Onion is stimulating and irritating food, its consumption in excess should be limited.

It can be used in Respiratory Disease and It is one of the safest preventive medicine against common cold during winter.It can be used in Tooth Disorders ,
Anemia and Heart Disease. Due its pungent odour , a few people avoid it . But its curative properties and taste still make it an internationally accepted Vegetable.

Does food cooked in Microwave oven change its composition & become harmful?

It does not repeat not. On the other hand the application of uniform heat from all sides and in a controlled way retains all the essential compostion of the food. It does not repeat make it harmful.

First, it makes your breath stink. Also, some people find onions hard to digest, especially as they get older.
