Casablanca is a wonderful film that I can watch about once a year. I will watch Doctor Zhivago every time it's on. You can absolutely lose yourself in that movie. The set designs are breathtaking.

I would recommend seeing both movies. However, Casablanca is the more critically acclaimed. Usually, a critically-acclaimed film makes people sleep. This is because people have different tastes when it comes to movies. If you like sweeping and epic, then Dr. Zhivago would be greater for you, and so would Gone with the Wind be, probably.

Dr. Zhivago, DEFINETELY, I once rented Casablanca and I fell asleep (I ask forgiveness to the fans!!!), but I didnt like it, after the song As time goes by I totally fell asleep, I think that was teh only part I liked, when Sam plays the song again...
Dr Zhivago is amazing on the other hand, I totally recommend it..

Casablanca is one of the best movies ever made. Great characters, incredible writing, perfect acting, uplifting values.

Zhivago is a big, beautiful, overblown melodrama.
