I would say Payton Manning. Because of his hilarious commericials and the expectations of his team. The Colts proved last year they are a team of great calibur. But having lost in the playoffs last season Payton's status of an elite QB had been questioned. People started questioning whether Payton actually could take them to the big game and win it. Like the Miami Dolphins/Dan Marino in the 80's who had winning seasons with no super bowl rings. I believe Payton felt he had to prove that he is capable of winning it all, in which he did.

excalibur is right....manning was most popular being on a superbowl winning team and all the commercials....but L.T was the best....
hey DaGodfather....no way manning is better than L.T and how the hell is L.T more popular??? never in a commercial, never celebrates, never bad mouths his offensive line (peyton) he never speaks....

LaDanian Tomlinson becuase he was MVP there are tons of bandwagons out there, who go with the best, my fav in the NFL Brian Westbrook.

Peyton Manning. But L.T. is a close second. T,O. was on the t.v. every 3 minutes so he wins the most coverage award ,imangine if it were because of his play on the field.

p.manning, after all of monkey talk about the monkey getting off his back after coming back and beating the pats and then the superbowl, i don't think anyone was covered more on espn and sports center this year in the NFL
