I know that this question should ne on Diet and fitness- and I have asked this question already on that Category but I hardly got any answers!

I was wondering if anyone can tell me which one is better. I have done Weight Watchers twice before and I have lost 25 lbs the first time, gained some of it back, went on it again and started working out and then I lost 15 lbs.
I know that since Weight Watchers worked for me twice before that you are thinking that I should stick with Weight Watchers. But the think is is this:
1. I don't want to count points anymore.
2. I don't watch to monitor everything that I put in my mouth.
3. It seems easier that the food is prepared for me.
4. Nutrisystem may be a bit more expensive but it seem easier.

Please let me know what you think or what your experiences are. I really appreciate it. The "majority rule" will help with my decision.
Thanks!

I think both are good for different reasons. Nutrisystem is good for the actual weight loss and Weight Watchers is good for the maintenance of that weight loss.

I lost 60 pounds on Nutrisystem. I liked the food, but it did get a little boring after awhile. I was on the vegetarian program though, and I think if I weren't on that I would have not gotten bored so quickly. They do a lot of product updates and introduce new foods all of the time. It's nice not to have to think about it - but it's a good idea to look at the packaging for nutritional content so when you go off of it you can create your own meal plan.

And that's where I think Weight Watchers is good for the maintenance, because you will have to be in the "real world" and make healthy decisions about your food choices at some point, and Nurtisystem doesn't have a plan to get you off of their foods - when you stop, you stop and that's it. Whereas Weight Watchers is good at steering you in the right direction to make good choices with your own food preparation.
Good luck!

well for one, I don't see why you will depend on others for your diet. My opinion is this Weight watchers is realistic, unlike nutri system who food sucks. If you are a discipline person, which sounds like you aren't, then you should go with nutrisystem especially if taste doesn't matter. But if it does, you are going to waste alot of money cuz their food taste like chalk and paper. my coworker did nutrisystem and she lost a ton of weight, but she was damn there 400lbs so she had no choice, as for you, I don't know your wieght the seriousness of the diet, so I can't tell you what is best for you, maybe you should see your doctor. I think Weight watchers gives the customer too much control, and if a person is seriously overweight then they should deal with nutrisystem. It really depends on you and what you are able to tolerate, and your size.

A friend of mine does the NutriSystem thing. She loves it. She says that you don't have to think about anything since its all weighed out and measured for you. She's lost about 15 pounds so far and she's been doing it for about 4 months.

Weight Watchers is more real life. I have found success with this way of eating.Someone else portioning out food may seem easier, but this method doesn't fit in the real world. Have you tried the core method instead of the points? This is a bit simpler.Meetings help also.
You can't "go on and off" a lifestyle change. You have to wan't it and stick with it.In addition, fitness is KEY.Moving more and eating smarter.GOOD LUCK!

Seems to me you don't really want to work at changing your eating habits. That's what it boils down to. Weight Watchers would allow you to possibly stay successful at losing and or keeping weight off. It sounds like it is your mind set. Losing weight AND keeping it off is not nor will it ever be easy. NutriSystem is a gimmick and HIGHLY expensive. You could never stick with that forever. WW teaches you how to eat properly. Go with that. Make the real effort if you really want to lose AND keep it off!

I say screw both WW and NS. Put your own diet in place, that's what I do. I stay on diet from Monday to Friday. Example, I only eat fat free soup, low fat milk, yogurt, smoothie etc during those days. However, on weekends I eat extra large pizzas or whatever that you are craving for. Trust me, it will work out. Be sure to work out from Monday to Friday. Take it easy on Saturday and Sunday.

On that way, you won't be on diet entire time and still you will get to lose weight ane enjoy the meals.

Both are scams. Get some digestive enzymes to take right before meals, so that there is something in your stomach to help digest the food and help it go through your system the way it was meant to go, drink lots of water, and don't eat after 6 p.m. Eat as much raw and organic food as possible.

Ive been on both, even tho it was a while ago. Even though u have point counting on WW, I think its a better program b/c u are being taught how to eat "real" food...when I was on Nutri System it was their food which isnt somthing u'll b eating once off their program...
