In all the newspaper articles it says 'estranged' mother of anna nicole - and i just wondered what had happened between them?

It started out that momma was very upset at her daugther's drug use and her downward spiral.
The strain on the relationship seemed to have been helped along by slimeball Stern. Virgie has tape where Anna Nicole was on the phone leaving her a message and it was supposedly clearly heard, Howard K Stern screaming at Anna, " What the hell are you doing?" and the hung up the phone. She never got to speak to her again. Stern barred the "door" and no one could get to her.

I think it was the fact that Anna Nicole was taking drugs and her Mother disapproved. That is what started it anyway.
