Would you look at that....Hollywood has done it again?

Hollywood stars complain about Global warming. But last night at the Oscars lots the same stars that complain arrived in gas gussling limos. Or even fly into the city using lots of jet fuel by the plane they were on. So can any tell me who is to realy blame when it come to Global Warming or is everyone guilty

Do some research on Laurie David, wife of Larry David. He is a big Hollywood guy, i.e., Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc. Ms. David is an "environmental activist" who blames every SUV driver for global warming, but will only fly on private chartered planes because she's too important to fly with the rest of us. While a private chartered plane from LA to NYC will use more gas in one trip than an SUV for an entire year.

So check her out. She's a hypocrite.

Everyone is guilty, but consider this.... Hollywood celebrities are such a small percentage of our population, and Oscar night is only once a year. Are you saying that, because this small number of people rode in limos and jets to the Oscars, then global warming must not be real? Or that we don't have to do anything? Or, are you just pointing out that some people are hypocrites? BTW this does not need pointing out.

Also, consider that many celebs have taken measures to reduce their carbon footprints? Have you? Or do you just like to complain about the celebs? Have you at least replaced your lightbulbs with CFs?

It is a shame that our nation relies so much on jet transportation, which pollutes so much and, despite huge government subsidies, is never even profitable. But the airliner and airline industries have our govt in their pocket, so trains and buses will never see any development.

We are all guilty. We ALL need to do something. We can point at the celebrities and say, "what hypocrites!" as if that lets us off the hook.

It is true, everyone is to blame for Global Warming. It's now up to us to prevent the earth from deteriorating any more. We owe it to our future generations. The government is going to be the only one who will be able to enforce that everyone does their part. That should be quite interesting considering this country is a mess because of the government. Everyone is guilty except those who have bought the fuel efficient cars and there are some: Leonardo Di Caprio (and he even uses the new light bulbs), Julia Roberts, Orlando Bloom and Darryl Hannah, to name a few. I'm sure there are others, but these are just the ones I can think of right now.

Watching any of these awards shows is a complete waste of time. I haven't seen one in years, because all they do is blubber on about whatever socialist cause they are in to at the moment. I would probably end up damaging a perfectly good TV.
