What is the best way to teach a 3 yr. old to speak to languages.

bilingual school. if this isn't an option, consider day care or a nanny who speaks the language you want your child to learn...and ask them to speak exclusively to the child in that langauage. um...you should probably learn this language as well. and beware that someone you hire to nanny or daycare for you, may not be the worlds greatest grammar expert in their own language. this is why bilingual schooling is the best option. don't wait!! 3 years old is the perfect time to start a new language!

Speak to the child in two languages.
Not at the same time, though!

three days a week, speak only that second language in your home
