what do you look for in a girlfriend or fling?

Honest? Short answer?
Fling - nothing except the obvious.
Girlfriend - perfection.
Seriously, looks and figure are everything at first glance, especially when you are younger. Then you get to realise these girls have nothing much to offer, basically empty shells. And you are expected to talk to them in the morning. So you learn and move on.
Sense of humour - chose you didn't she? Looks after her dress and appearance, without being faddy.
Loving - top of the list, everyone needs it.
Loyalty - stands by you in an argument and fights your corner, even when she may not believe in it.
And completely different interests. Anyone that says you need common interests talks rubbish.
Accept he has his pals, you have yours. Give each other space.
Geeze, reading this back, I should have been a counsellor!
But hope this quick overview at least gives you an insight into how the beer-swilling, grab-em-all, eat all the pies, fall asleep during football whilst lying on the remote - male mentality works?

Those are two separate questions:
1) A fling--look for any girl willing
2) A girlfriend--a mild temperament. Someone fun, decent looking and not too clingy. Low maintenance.
