why are we always bombarded with american actresses/ models and singers and never have gorgeous south african women like Minki ,Hhlubi, Joanne, Connie Fergurson etc...

I have and my younger cousin still does. I was bored by seeing all the American names and nothing about the South Africans, I would even double check the version I have to make sure it is really the SA version. I feel it is looking down upon what we have and uplifting the west, we are guilty of that, aren't we?

To answer your question: no, I've never read Glamour magazine (I'm more into Weg, National Geographic and Popular Science).

yeah.. i'm an avid reader of it.. and actually at first i thot it was a UK magazine.. i mean hey - even the models dont portray our 'africanness'...
