I'm 2cm dilated and 70% efface. Now it's hard to get out of bed, without feeling like my bottom half is going to break off, after I finally get out of bed, I hurt so bad I can barely walk across the floor.. This pressure is worse this morning, it hurts to walk PERIOD, I'm going to call the doctor but I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this..I seriously feel like I'm dragging my son across the floor.. please advice =)

Yep!! I am also 39 weeks pregnant and i have alot of pressure down there and it hurts initially when i start to walk from getting up.. It does ease a little once in my stride but i have to go slowly. My 4 year old daughter keeps asking.. "Mum, why are you walking so slow?" Coming from a little minx that usually drags along like a snail.. LOL! Anyway i am sure it is normal and just means we are "close" as they say, to having our baby's.. I am having a son to, so snap and good luck! Xx

Im 35 weeks pregnant and already 75% thinned out and 1/2 cm dialated. I know what your going through. when I walk, I walk hunched over because of all the pressure in my pelvis and I get this burning feeling throughout my vaginal area. It hurts bad. I have to stop walking or walk really really slow and go sit down just to feel better. Ive tried a maternity belt and it helps with the pressure a little but I still get that burning feeling. You can try that, it may help you out some! Good luck and I wish you the best throughout your pregnancy!!

I soooo remember this from my first pregnancy! You will probably have your son very soon! Like someone else said before me, have someone drive you to the hospital-DON'T do it yourself. Congratulations!!

You need to get off the computer and get to the hospital quick, pain meds are a wonderful thing!
