I've been there several times and it is a nice small town. It's one of those towns where you feel comfortable the moment you cross in. There are lots of historical sites and great places to eat. I don't think I could live there, but it's a nice place to visit.

Very laid back. Right outside Parris Island Marine Corps Base.
About an hours drive from Savannah, Georgia. Typical old South type town with old antebellum looking houses.

I hear it is very close to the beach and has some wonderful historical sites. I would love to go there.
