I like looking at all the things that are being sold. I don't even necessarily buy something, I just like looking at all the pretty stuff =)

The absolute literal need of food and clothing. When I go clothes shopping, I first go to the thrift stores. Better prices, and my money is going to something good, no some Corporate America dribble. Also, with clothing, whether or not I have money to do so. If not, I just pray and make do with what I have. (Almost every thing I have I got second hand and either free or less than $5.) Once I purchase the clothing, I try and keep it for as long as possible. (Which is why I'm currently wearing a sweatshirt that I've had for 13 years.)

My motivation for going shopping is to feed my obsession with buying things. (Cash only - no need to go in debt for this obsession). I like new things. New things make me feel better. Maybe it's just a magazine to lay down and read, maybe it's a new shirt to wear to work. Maybe it's just the thrill of the hunt for a great bargain. The way styles change it's always fun to try and find something new and stylish for yourself, although, I am by no means "in style"!! But maybe just that one little detail - you know, the beaded necklace, a knockoff purse, a big wide belt - will make me feel like I'm cool for just a few seconds!

to buy cute girl things...update the wardrobe...buy something that is new and currently in fashion (not every single thing as some things in style are just ***-ugly) ...but most of all..STRESS RELIEF....there is nothing better than retail therapy!

Needing to feed the family, needing new clothes. Isnt it obvious or does someone spoon-feed everything to you?
