its my best friends 30th birthday in about 4 weeks how can we give her a day to remember without it costing the earth

If it's your best friend, surely you can think of 30 things that say "You're my best friend."
Try to think of things that only *you* may know. Is her favorite kind of gum Doublemint? There's present #1. Does she only like one type of toilet paper? Present #2. What about that cute picture you took together in the photo booth? Add some captions=Present #3. Make her a certificate for her that promises never to reveal:______(some deep dark secret she has told you) = #4. Her favorite band? Google some info about their fan club, and get her a poster, certificate, photo,whatever they give out. I'm sure you get the idea.....
Wrap everything individually so you have 30 little gifts, put them in a big box, then wrap it in brown paper and cut out little phrases or sayings from magazines that remind you of her or your friendship, and glue them on, like a collage.

i guess u both hv been frds for a while and hv enjoyed lots of gud moments tog if u hv pics of yrself and this frd enjoying such time make a collage of these frame it and gift it to her u can mention special times wen yr frd helped u get over bad patches,or the time wen u just sat tog and bitched abt the whole world i m sure u wil hv plenty of stuff

ahhh, well just buy a cake, helium balloon and give a simple gift like a keychain.
