The problem with many conservatives in the higher powers is they aren't even trying to be conservatives. They are so hip deep in compromise with the other parties they are losing their identity.
Compromise and tolerance has its place, but not by forsaking all the ideals that makes you what you are.
that is the major problem they don't look any different than the moderates. In trying to make everyone happy they are making nobody happy..

I'm a believer that everything goes in cycles.
What goes up, well, has to come down. That's the laws of nature. When one side goes to far the people always vote the other way.As for the conservative world. No I don't think so.They have been down before and they will get back up again- plus having corporate sponsorship and lots of cash always helps hehe.

I think that any foundation based on hatred, fear, deceit and lust for power is bound to crumble.
Of course, I believe these elements to be present in all politics, not simply the Republican party.
