One person's dream vacation may not be an others. I could tell you that my wife and I went to Greece on our honeymoon, and loved every min. of it. Yet if you do not enjoy the things we do, you may not like it.
The two of you should talk about what you like in a vacation, and then come up with a short list of places. Keep in mind that in December, some places may not be a good choice.
In my case I like the beach, and my wife to explore. We chose Greece, and did 4 different places during our two weeks. Each place had something different, so much to see and the history was amazing.
We tend to stay away form the formal travel resorts, and packages. Rent a car drive around and meet as many people as you can.

How about East Africa.Kenya to be prisice to the second largest city Mombasa,it is an island ,has many beautiful beaches and the weather is just fine in December coz it is summer,and if you book as hooneymoonesr you will surely get all the servises and privecy.happy hooneymoon to you!

First see your budget. If you have the money than Switzerland is the all time favourate for all honeymoon goers. But let me tell you, if there is love, honeymoon can be at anyplace u wants, even by living amidst your family.
