Under normal circumstances I'd say no. But given D-Wade's injury and the overall state of the Eastern Conference, I'm gonna say yes. The question is if they have a CHANCE. They do have a chance. So does Miami, New Jersey, New York, Orlando and Charlotte. You have 6 teams playing for virtually two spots, possibly three if Indiana falters down the stretch (7.5 games seperate seeds 6-12 in the East). The Hawks have a good a chance of postseason basketball as any of the aforementioned teams because one or maybe even two of those teams are going to screw up down the stretch. The Hawks could choke in the end, but right now its a possibility Atlanta will return to the playoffs for the first time since the days of guys like Steve Smith and Stacey Augmon (is he still around?)

Yes they do have a chance at the playoffs. I think this because the hawks can go on winning streaks. And Joe Jonson is able to lead his team to the playoffs

i imagine the Hawks will make the play-offs yet in effortless words to the second one round in the journey that they get fortunate. No, they could't contend interior the jap convention because there are the Cavs, the Pistons, the Pistons, the Sixers, and different communities. i'd fee Joe Johnson interior the late 20's of the topt NBA gamers. probable 30's

They are a young team and I do not think that it is in the cards this year. If they keep getting better every year though maybe in 2 years they will make an appearance.

ive watched the hawks this year and i love their team. they have joe and josh who are just amazing players. then you have zaza and sheldon who will get better each year. tyron lue and marvin williams are role players. they won't make the playoffs this year but give them some time and the team chemistry should be good enough to win.

Joe Johnson
josh smith
zaza pachulia
josh childress
and a few more, but now they are too young

Give them 'til next year. They're like the Bobcats--they can compete with virtually any team, but they need a little time to develop.
