Even though each pregnancy is different, ususally they follow on similar to the first.

No, each pregnancy has it's own character and depends on your health and that of your child and self activity. My children were born, 3 days late, 1 week late and a month late: a 10 pounder!!!
My sister-in-law had 3 boys also and were from 3 weeks early to 2 weeks late. All due to health situations that were monitored closely at the end of the term.

Sometimes, everybody is different...I had my daughter at 30 weeks and my son at 26, They usually say that if you have one early then youll have a greater chance at having a second one early to, but i wouldnt keep my set on that if i were you, they have many things now to try and prevent that from happening and im sure your doctor will keep a close eye on you, as in making you come in more often then a normal pregnancy and lots of bed rest!...But anyway not always does that happen!

hi there it is not necessarly the case that you will have the next one early but you could do.
I had my first child the same as you at 36 weeks he was 5lb 7 1/2 oz.
My second child was 9 days late and weighed 7lb 6oz.

not really, sometimes women will have a certain condition that results in early labours, but you can have an early baby now and a late baby next time, 36 weeks isnt extremely early though as the expected due date is given within two weeks of e.g if your baby is due on the 7th feb they could arrive upto two weeks b4 or two weeks later, my daughter was delivered via ceasearean at 36 weeks thats when the above was explained to me as i was worried about my baby being 4 weeks prem, so at 36 weeks your baby is only two weeks early, my cousin however had a little boy at 28 weeks, he was the third child of seven all the rest arrived on time or late, he was kept in hospital for 6 mnths as he had various problems, but they mustve righted themselves as he is a manager of tescos now and got married abroad a fortnight ago and he and his new wife have just bought their own home this week, so being an early baby isnt always bad news tho veryu worrying at the time i understand

Sometimes, but not always. Depends why you were early, but people do seem to have a tendency towards early or late. I had 5 and all of mine were late. better to be 4 weeks early & avoid those last few uncomfortable weeks.

I logged on and planned to go straight to R&S. 1st, I assume baby is healthy. and congratulations on your sweet little baby girl.
I glanced at the first question and I chuckled even laughed at what I was reading!!!!
I was 22 years old and my first born was 2 weeks early.
My second child was born 18 months later and she was 2 weeks late. :**(
WhenI was 23, I waited every day for 4 weeks for my next bundle of joy to be born.
It obviously did not work like that for me.
The second child was also supposed to be born on April 1.
Peace out :)

Do you mean, will you alway give birth early? If so, when I was preg with my son I went 2 weeks over. When I went to the Dr. with baby
#2, my OB told me that we should consider inducing around 38-39 weeks because history usually does repeat itself.

no every pregnancy is different. my first was 12 days late, my second 2 days early, and my third was 10 days late.and people say the more kids you have the quicker the labor is, for me the total opposite 16,19,and 23 hours. every pregnancy, labor and baby is unique.
