One is for safety so a girl isn't left alone or with a group of men while her friend is in the toilet.
Other one is so they can talk about you. They need reasurement that things are going well/ok and how they could go better, if she's getting the right signals and what they're going to do next. Women think and worry about that stuff a lot and having another girl's oppinion puts them at ease.

girls have nothing to hide and all girls dont care if they see eachothers bits. you'll prob find out that girls go loo in gangs for gossip on eachother when out on the town.
men are sensitive with their manhood, if they are small, large etc, so they dont like other men looking. men are more insecure than women

We go so we gossip, use each others lipsic, have a laugh behind you men, and also if we don't get along well, just pull each other's hair privately in the toilet.

hunting in packs is common in most mammal societies i think.
the hunt for the empty loo cubical is not for the faint hearted, especially when there is often only one free, that would require a gas mask to approach.

Because it's a chance to discuss stuff without guys being around. Mostly we discuss guys, make up and other girly things that you guys would really not be interested in anyway.
