~Given that they are descended from a Siouan tribe of the American Northwest and were forcibly moved, ultimately, into the Valley of Mexico by conquest, undoubtedly they traded throughout the centuries on their way. Incidentally, all Nahuan tribes are properly referred to as "Aztec". I presume you are speaking of the Tenochca and/or Toltecs or even the Mexica. Little matter. They all started out in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia.

They migrated to Mexico City area from North America, but their Empire didn't trade that far north once it was set up as far as is known. There may have been a few slaving raids for slaves and sacrafices north of the Rio Grande though.

perhaps not directly but there have been some scholars who believe some of their goods reached Cahokia in present day Illinois.
