I remeber Shock and Awe. I remember mission accomplished. I don't remember in the march to war any rhetoric about nation building. Why? Because no one gave it a second thought. When the Iraquis where looting D. Rumsfield said it was because the people were experiencing freedom. So did anti war protesters and lib media cause failure? No. This war was declared won and broadcasted with the media. The fall out now is directly due to very dangerous leadership. There is plenty of blame to go around. The question is will people in this county have the fortitude to impeach?

What caused the Bush wars to fail was a lack of forethought on the part of Bush & Co. and the fact that they went after the wrong person instead of focusing on the one responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Also, despite what so many conservatives say, there is no liberal media, unless you count Mother Jones magazine and Air America Radio.

So let me get this straight....you actually believe that protesters and media are the reason for failure in Iraq? What does that say about the strength of the military? Or the power of the United States? If you truly believe that the military efforts could be thwarted by the public's marching or the television morons' small minds, then America is in worse shape than even you imagine it to be....

are you serious? this war was a failure before it started. You can however blame the powers that be for instilling a sense of fear and paranoia that herded the majority of mindless, republican, midwest, bible-thumpers to rally in the name god and start a war we by no means can finish.
the anti-war protestors knew all along this war was a mistake and the media is by no means liberal...if anything, they are a special interest group that cater to power brokers to promote whatever message of the week needs to be forced fed to all the mindless drones of this country.

No, it replace into the Bush administration's loss of making plans and underestimating the enemy that derailed the conflict. Yes actually it did. If the Libs would let the war be fought like it should we would be done with it now. There is too much worry about human rights in a war now days. We should just go in a blow them away and be done with it.
