TMZ reports, "We're told a day after the cup incident, the parties started negotiating. TMZ spoke with Birkhead's lawyer Debra Opri Sunday in the Bahamas, who would not confirm a settlement. She did, however, say DNA testing must be completed and paternity established before any settlement could occur. Sources say Stern could be amenable to giving Birkhead what he needs to establish custody. We're told that in return, Stern wants ongoing control of Anna's estate and, once the estate is probated, continued involvement by becoming trustee for Dannielynn."
Personally I feel Birkhead is the father but feel that Stern is a double murderer and should have no control over Anna's assets.

Anna's body is literally decomposing while these vultures fight over where to bury her. No one should get custody of the baby who is playing any part in this current circus (DNA or not). Not any of the 50 guys claiming to be the dad or her mother. They're all out for the money and not out of concern for the baby.

Howard K. Stern was viewed by the judge as a provider of the drugs she took, which killed her. I agree with that, and I feel that Stern should have NO say in the case. In my opinion, the body belongs to Anna's mother and the paternity test needs to take place. The actual father should get custody of Danielynn and the estate, unless the father is deemed unworthy (such as Stern), in which case, the aforementioned should go to her mother.

That doesn't sound like a fair settlement to me. If Stern is not the father he should have no say in the baby's upbringing or finances. I think he has something to do with both the deaths. I think he just got tired of her wanted the money. He should excluded from everything and investigated.

No it's not especially when Stern is refusing the test in my eyes it's telling me he isn't the father and do not want to except the fact that he will lose all control over Anna's assets. And yes I feel he is the murderer of both Anna and her son.

I absolutely agree with you on all accounts! Why everyone cannot see HK Stern for the shyster he is...is beyond me!
