Check out this NY Times article. It shows just how deep the corruption in the Bush Administration goes, albeit circumstantial as it is....

And this is only ONE THING that's circumstantial evidence against the Bush Administration. If we added it all up, we'd have to prosecute them all for a lot more than this little thing.

Is the Bush Administration the most corrupt, in our lifetimes at least?

There are too many factual faults in the article to take it too seriously. For what it is worth, I think there are two corrupt administrations that take the cake. One is repub, the other dem.

Nixon broke several constitutional laws regarding the limits of his power and in trying to obstruct justice. As an individual he was corrupt without equal.

As for an entire administration the Clinton administration saw more imprisonments, indictments, and members fleeing the country than any in the nation's history.

The current controversies about Bush are no more or less than those of most previous presidents, democrat and republican. There will always be conspiracies and accusations (many from the press) in an attempt to gain political points against a sitting president.

The most corrupt was Clinton. The most inept was Carter.
The NY Times should be called the Communist Times!

Since you asked...here's what I think...

The Bush administration will go away in two years. Nothing will be done about the corruption or anything else with GWB's reign...because we have important issues going on, and any prosecution proceedings will be costly and a massive distraction.

But more than that, I think that all these accusations and negative attention is going to give this man too much of a legacy. Albeit a negative legacy...but it will put him in the history books. And thats what bothers me most. I would like for him and his cronies to just fade away and be forgotten. Any further attention he gets is too much for me. He has disrespected America for far too long, so I'd like to just forget all about him...and let his record stand. He can be remembered as a corrupt and stupid man...thats it!
