The Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown
Angels and Demons - Dan Brown
Anything by Terry Pratchett.
All of them are fiction, but really good.

If you like historical non-fiction I suggest you read any book by Stephen Ambrose. He has written several best selling biographies in the last ten years that are quite good. If you like Jane Austen and haven't read "Jane Eyre" by Bronte you need to. "The Last of the Mohicans" by James Fenimore Cooper is also a must read. When in doubt, ask your local librarian what he/she recommends. I've found my favorite books that way. Also, see if there is a book group in your area and join. I don't recommend Laurell K Hamilton for a 14 year old. Her Fey series and Anita Blake series are barely disguised soft pornography. Happy Reading!

Here are some good books for a person your age.
S.E. Hinton books (The Outsiders, Tex, Rumble Fish, That Was Then, This Is Now)
Walk Through Cold Fire by Cin Forshay Lundsford
To Kill a Mockingbird
A series of books by Frances A. Miller (The Truth Trap, Aren't You the One Who...?, Winners and Losers)
Cages of Glass, Flowers of Time (don't know the author though)
Hope this helped.

You have read ALL of Jane Austen's books? thats really cool im 14 too and i've read pride and prejudice, persuasion, and mansfield park and i'm going to start sense and sensibility soon
But I would recommend shakespeare especially his sonnets they are so pretty. Another one of my favorites is Count of Monte Cristo It's amazingly written it's one of those exciting revenge novels but it has a lot of interesting themes to it.

Harry Potter is all you need! haha
I would read Jane Eyre if you haven't, I read it when I was 12...it was a tad confusing then, but I got the overall drift, then I read it again when I was your age and it was great.
