The colour Red is difficult to match with another colour.
'to go' is actually a slang word in this case, and so according to rules of grammar, may not go well in this case.

Well first of all its "with" not wit. Unless you are saying I have lost my with because I am trying to match red with another color. Personally I would word the sentence this way. Other colors dont play well with red, this is due to a lack of social skills from this first color in the rainbow. He thinks he is the best.
