You cant compare a PSP to a Wii, that like comparing a microwave to a toaster, they are two totally diffrent kind of game systems

I wouldn't want to Compare these 2-- they are 2 totally different things! The PSP is a hand held gamer, and the Wii is a console. If you are lookin for something for Children the Wii is going to be the better Console I'd say. You dont play on the internet with it but the games are very hands on and user friendly.

I'm a nintendo fan so I like the wii better. I have a wii and I love it! It comes with the wii sports, which is a really fun game and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is a must have. On the wii you can play Gamecube Games and you can also down load old games from the NES, Super NES, and Nintendo 64 on the wii too.

Why? It depends on why you ask this question.
I'm in my thirties, I commute to work so the PSP is great for mobile hand held gaming. The games are limited, but it's for wasting time. I have an Xbox 360 at home, great fun with a few beers.
My friends with Wii's love them, the concept is great, but it doesn't travel and stays at home. I think for a kid the Wii would be the better option. For a husband or boyfriend, neither, you do like sex?

These are some of the most ridiculous answers I've ever seen. He can compare a console to a handheld if he wants to. >.> My advice? Buy the one that appeals to you more. If you want portability, go for PSP (or the DS mind you). If you want a console go for the Wii (or PS3/60). If you can't decide between the two buy both or neither. Don't ask us what to do with your money (my advice is donate it to some charity). So again, BUY THE ONE THAT APPEALS TO YOU MORE.

For one thing, a PSP is a handheld console, whereas a Wii is a standard one, like the PS2, for example.
I think you can access the Internet using the PSP but I'm not sure.
Anyway, in my opinion, Nintendo seem to be trying to compete with the XBox 360 or the PS3 and it won't work, because both are superior consoles, for many reasons.
It's up to you. If you want to play PlayStation games anywhere you like, buy a PSP. But if you want to play arcade games with a weird little remote thing, buy a Wii.
I have to admit I wouldn't mind trying a game on the Wii, but personally, I wouldn't buy one.

if you have money ill advice you to buy wii, but if you are short on budget then buy psp.. since games are only downloaded from the internet....

That's like comaring apples and pears really. Both are good machines, it's all down to whether u want to be portable...or play with family on wii!
