I want to date/marry a Black man that is educated like me, and comes from a middle class family. He has to be a college bound and he has to be intelllgent and funny. And he can't have any kids by any other woman, he has to be open to new things, and he has to accept me as an intelligent woman.

It's actually EXTREMELY easy...the thing is, black women are always looking in the wrong places. You'll look for an "educated black man" at the club on a Saturday night and then get frustrated and take what you can get....black women take these grill-wearing, wannabe thugs because they figure they can't do any better. Intelligent and articulate black men are everywhere. You just have to look for them in the right places and MAKE THE FIRST MOVE! Don't sit there and think "I hope that fine intelligent brotha over there comes to talk to me."

Also, I don't think his class should have anything to do with your standards. There are intelligent funny poor men, middle-class men, and rich men.

I understand what you mean, many black men are hard to find nowadays, I'm educated , without a prison record, but I'm already taken. My daughter says the same thing as you. I don't know what will happen with her in the future. Black men aren't like they use to be. Alot of educated black men go for white women or other races, simply because they think they're to good for a black woman. (My close black friends are like that.) I'm not.
