root hairs take up water from the soil by osmosis. what would happen if so much fertiliser (made out of nitrogen) was put on the soil that the soil water becomes a strongest solution than a cell sap of the root hairs?

Root hairs absorb water by osmosis. Water flows from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration. If you apply too much fertilizer (usually a combination of salts, like nitrates), you reverse this osmotic process; instead of water flowing into the roots, water flows out of the roots. Scientists call the overfertilized area around the root a "hypertonic solution". The plant wilts (loses "tugor pressure") , partially dehydrates, and will die.
Follow directions carefully ,and apply the correct amount of fertilizer.

Simple, the plants cannot take in nutrients and water. So, the plant does not live. The plant grows healthily up to when the pesticide is spread. After that, the plant dies and the plant is pulled out and thus loosens the soil. So, the results are that soil becomes loose and indirectly pollutes the earth.

from what i know plants dont really suffer from excess fertilizer, it usually is the water around it that does. as the rain causes the soil to leach the fertilizer into a river ocean or stream. this would in the long run cause eutrophication. As long as there is a supply of water i.e rain, the soil can never be too fertile. both if there is no water supply the plants would equally die from drought not from excess fertilizer

in simple form the plant will burn and die
what will happen is a build up of PH levels will become too high causing the soil to become almost acid like as we know acid is hash to most things so all things planted in the arena wil die
so check PH levels and apply as needed
