Like an adult. Can you imagine a child growing up speaking baby talk?

I speak like an adult just in a happier, higher tone. Baby-talk is degrading to both the child and you, the supposed adult.

I try to avoid them, I'm not great with kids. But when I do have to interact I talk like a big boy, not like a baby.

babue talk until about 3 months old and then I talk to them like I would talk to a child that understands what I am saying...that is the only way to get them to use words like milk and water instead of mmm and wawa.
