Mismanaged yes. Wrong intentions yes. I cannot soundly say it is failed yet unless we leave Iraq for the insurgents. 10 years from now if they become a democratic powerful nation it will spread to others and peace more then likely will follow. I do not think the true outcome will show for some years. It is the heartland theory. Good article..
