It's easy. They can't deny what they voted for, so they now are saying Bush tricked them. How convenient.

I voted for Bush twice, and I can honestly say that has been a big disappointment. Not that either of the two clowns that he beat would have done better, but I truly think he let us true conservatives down. While I agree that 99% of the Dem's in congress voted to go to war, even though now they are saying they didn't. I do not believe that Bush is an idiot, however, if he were smart he would have done things the constitutional way and gotten a declaration of war, and that way the Dem's couldn't turn things around on him now.

*quirks brow* - I am a Bush supporter, and was actually a little surprised by that decision myself. Frankly I think that though our president may not be the most brilliant orator in our nation's history, that he has had to deal with one of the most difficult situations any president has ever had to face, He began his presidency trying to deal with the largest terrorist attack this nation has ever seen, went to war and faught it while trying to clean up the mess Clinton made, Had more then one natural disaster to deal with (( Bless those victims )) and keeping in mind that he has had to put out fires since his innaguration, that he has done an excellent job. Unlike other presidents who had easy presidencys our current president has had to deal with a lot. I'm not saying he's the best we've ever had, nor am I saying that he hasn't made mistakes, But I am saying that we should keep this in mind before we judge him. Whenever a nation has stressfull things happen there will be strong opinions on both sides of the issue, and it is very easy for we, who don't run the country, who don't have to be the ones to make decisions like "will we go to war" " how do I balance the NATIONAL check book " "How do we help all the victims of a natural disaster effectively and in a timely manner? " to judge him and assume that he is stupid. In all honesty, a lot of Americans have trouble dealing with their own lives let lone the lives of everyone in the nation. In my opinion He has done well with what he had, the hand he was dealt and the available options.- I would have liked to see either of the Clintons manage it so well... Bill couldn't even manage his extramaratal affairs, I doubt he could have managed 9-11 or Hurricanes or anything else of that calibur were his presidency as difficult.

a new twist to the thought on the war, just something to consder here....
Sept 11, a bunch of bad guys began fight in America... the Americans, or Bush...could have said, oh well, please don't do that again and build a wall around NA, lined with sharp shooters to wait for the next bad guy to continue the assualt on America.
The thing about the war in Iraq...is just that... IT'S IN IRAQ, AND NOT BEING STAGED IN AMERICA ... Although I did not vote for Bush, I commend him for saving the civilian population in America

Democrats didn't vote for the war. Bush lied & misinformed & conned all the people. Even when the truth was found, Bush went ahead with it although the UN & most of the other countries were against it. Get your facts straight.

The war in Iraq and George W. Bush's competence are two completely separate things.
The 'argument' you posed in your question makes no sense.
Hillary Clinton is not the smartest woman in the world, by the way.
I am.

Politics don't work that way, and neither does the human population in general. Come back after you've taken some courses in political science, anthropology, macroeconomics, and sociopsychology.
