The romantic tension between them was fantastic on JLU! And they make interesting partners on a case because their skill sets are different, so they will take different approaches to the problems they encounter. I give it a big thumbs up, regardless of what you mean by the word "pairing."

I'm still recovering from Green Lantern and Hawkgirl.

Anyway.

Batman, or at least the current dark knight themed Batman isn't the type that can be with a girl for a long time.

While Wonder-Woman is primary a lesbian themed character.

Their relationship is doomed from the very beginning. It's cute though seeing Batman helping the pig, like a junior high school boy helping his troubled girlfriend. Then again, that episode look like a Xena episode.

Wonder-Woman with a playboy on the other hand seems to be good.

The Tony Stark example is good.

She also look good with that Hefner parodized character and also that allied spy in that World War II story.

Bruce Wayne also look good with her, but only as Bruce Wayne and not Batman, they look good when they were forced to go together as civilians in the episode when Hawkgirl's people were after them.

I say thumbs down.
Heroes need to be paired by power level, and there's no way batman is on Wonder Woman's level. So it becomes confusing to pick a villain that is a challenge for Wonder Woman but not too challenging for Batman....
Now if you're talking about pairing them romantically as a couple...that might be interesting..

Nope, Batman stinks

No, I think a better pairing would be tony stark and wonder woman.

It would be a good springboard for a crossover. tony stark bones her one night at a party, she gets pissed when he taps her on the head in the morning and tosses her a token (it would take place in the 80's).

a fight ensues and doesn't end until black widow walks in and they all have a threesome with stark promising to have her over for one night a month if he isn't otherwise predisposed and if she brings some of her hot friends to join the party.

Absolutely, it seemed to have good chemistry in Justice League: Unlimited. :D
