I thought it was an excellent documentary. But, it was the only one from that catergory that I saw.

He totally deserved to win it. It's an informative documentary about a very pressing subject. The scientific international community agrees. the only people who don't agree have a political agenda which favors turning a blind eye to the scientifically proven facts. I guess the doubters think they know science better than nobel prize winning scientists which are all unanimously agreeing about global warming.

Open your eyes and go searching at what's occurring to this planet earlier it really is too late for all individuals. what's incorrect with attempting to get human beings to renounce destroying this planet? Al Gore is doing the right element, i'm no longer a Michael Moore fan in any respect, yet Al Gore is astounding!

I think it's fantastic and I'm not even a Democrat. It is a very serious matter according to a lot of people who know about these things and we needed a "high profile" person to get our attention on the matter such as the man "who used to be the next President of the United States."

i liked what Ellen said before about Jenifer Hudson not winning America idol and then getting an Oscar nomination then AL gore winning the presidency but not getting it [ because of the fascist thief's stealing it from him!], because it was funny but very true!

I have now seen it 3 times !! and I will watch it again too....He got me motivated into doing something about global warming....at least my one contribution into cutting down on water and fuel wastage !!....He should have been President over there and I said this way before I even knew about his slide show....and if you say, he got an Oscar, then I am really proud of him for showing enough guts to give this truth to the world.......thankx for the grand imfo.......

It was a total politically motivated award.

Shows that the Oscars are not about which movie is good, but about who presents a film that meets the agenda of the liberals.

yeah its the only one that most people saw, and that's good enough of a reason for it to win.
