I try to have fun with it...being silly never hurt anyone now did it?!

How do u decide it is "pointless"? If u decide it is "pointless" then what is the "point" in answering it? Rather skip it and help someone else. This forum is to help out people, not to be silly or have fun at the cost of somebody else? As a responsible member you can always skip it and let the others answer if they find it to the "point".

If it's pointless to me, I skip the question....what's pointless to me may not be pointless to someone else, so it's common courtesy to just SKIP a question that you think is pointless. Sometimes being silly can hurt someone else's feelings.

Depends on the question..if someone is trying to have a laugh and make you smile then I go with it..the world needs more laughter and what a great way Answers is for spreading a bit of cheer around.

I would be wary of excessive silliness if I were you. They have silly monitoring devices dotted around the place that can seek out silliness from four categories away. If they catch you your silliness will be blasted into it's component atoms and you will be rounded up and swept into the blue ones.
(Don't ask, you wouldn't like it.)

If I feel it verges on stupidity to the extreme then I ignore it but I enjoy polls&surveys and join in the fun most of the time :)

I have fun with it. My favorite are the twisted questions that have no meaning. I will have very detailed answers for them. Sometimes they like it so much they pick it!

Yep have fun with it.. sometimes Ive gone to put an answer..but at the last min. read it but not submitted it,as it just didn't feel right. but its hard not to put something silly..
