Great Question ! and how can they justify £45 for the Kids Passports... its another Rip-0ff Britain...- Mark J - it is a 5 minute job..you can turn up and they will give you a new passport - there & then for a Bargain Price !! of £108.. now that is a rip off...

Because our government just loves to rip us off. The interviews mentioned earlier are a really worrying development too.

it is absolutely disgusting a friend of mine has had to postpone her planned trip till next year because for her whole family to go away it would cost over £300 in passports alone, which is more than the cost of a holiday.

Personally I think it is a good deal and so do all those who would risk everything to get a British Passport

Work out how long it takes to produce and process your application. This is not a five minute job I am sure.
I don't think it is too bad as it lasts 10 years - thats only £6.60 per year.
