I am against suicide, as any rational person would be. Those who do commit suicide are in a terrible depression, not caused by social surroundings but by an illness in the mind.
There are people who are driven to suicide, like young students who are perpetually bullied, or by desperate men who can't get out of the slump they're in or caused their family to be in.
Some men commit murder/suicide when their family is separated from them and they would rather die and take their family with them then go on without them, sadly, this involves young children.
Hopefully more people can reach out before things become too overwhelming.
If anybody wants to commit suicide, they should have the courtesy to leave a note behind.
I truly hope you are not considering suicide!

well not pro suicide no, it can be selfish in some cases, however its the individual to decide in the end =( some people can't bare to live, these people need support and help, however its not always effective, well not in time anyway, suicide has a big and negative impact on the friends and family of such a person, suicide is the last resort. In the case of those with terminal illnesses its sometimes the only release from the pressure of knowing you're going to die - sometimes very painfully and someone may not want to be remembered by what they are not what they may become with chemo etc. Its a personal option I think up to the person. Pushing someone to suicide is unforgivable though - in my opinion though.

Against it! Everyone has problems, some worse than others. But there is always a better way than suicide. I like many other people have been suicidal in the past, but I sat back and took a look around me and realised that I have it good compared to others and they were living life as best they possibly could! Besides, my kids would have no mother. Who would love and care for them like me. I couldn't leave them behind, I had to stay. Things may look grim, but there is always a way around it and it's not suicide!!

against..
mostly people commit suicide when they are extremely depressed or n some kind of problems they thought they cant find a solution to them..
but i personally think that we should face the problem than run away from it..they can try to talk about it to friends, family and psychiatrists..

I once had what is refered to as a suicidal dream . In my dream I jumped off a cliff and awoke in darkness. I felt a foreign emotion whilst in this dark place , It was an emotion of intense despair . I felt that this dream was something telling me that suicide was not an option . I now firmly believe in life as oppose to the end of life ( suicide) .

Pro, but only for those with painful, terminal illnesses, like advanced bowel cancer, where even the strongest analgesics are ineffective. No-one should have to endure a long period of agony, merely because of someone else's misguided religious, moral or ethical values.

Yes. Thoroughly, totally, completely Against It!!! Why? Because everyone has a right to be here and to get their problems worked out. They also leave a hole in the hearts of everyone who had No Idea they would do that to themselves!!! It's not cowardly. It's pitiful!!

If a person is facing a terminal illness where the only possible outcome is a painful slow death, then Yes. We are all going to die, and if it is certain, (like in cancer patients) that you have about 2 months to live and it will be horrible. Let the person take a shot and go to sleep.
:O)
