What happened to the idea of putting powder detergent into dosing balls.
I know you can get them for liquid detergent.
The reason I ask is because washing powder keeps sticking in the tray and this seems like a cheap solution to this problem, but I have no idea if powder dosing balls are still made.

I just chuck the powder in the drum before the clothes, or use the cap off the conditioner bottle if I've got one.

I haven't seen them for ages either. My washing powder sticks in the tray too so I pour boiling water out of the kettle into it and it gets rid of it.

Hi, my mum got a dosing ball from QVC, may be worth checking out their website to see if they still sell them, she swears by it!!
However, was quite some time ago....

No, I have'nt seen them around for some time now. Why not contact Persil or whatever company makes your powder, they will be able to tell you!

Why not use liquid detergent or the liqui-tabs then?
