it's a no brainer really, if you get them out of one area whats to stop them doing it all over again in the new area.

i've seen similar things to this through my work and displacing the "criminal" doesn't work, they need community support and counselling and sometimes also educating.

some of these people do it out of fear from reprisals, they need help not evicting

Moving the mums and dads of gun totting youths out of their council tenancies will not solve anything. The same sort of thing happens when prostitutes are moved on, they just set up in business elsewhere.

The real answer to the problem of gun crime is possibly already taking place as was demonstrated in Brixton yesterday when a truck load of 'rappers' all dressed in orange jump suits were transported through the town apparently behind bars on the truck, singing anti-gun rap. Brilliant.

It is clear to me that the people on the estates where gun crimes take place are more likely to want guns off the streets than folks like myself who are living out here in the leafy suburbs. I just want people to have a happy and carefree life to follow their dreams and no be constantly in dread of being shot at.

the law state's that they are aiding and abetting a criminal.
tougher basic law's and sentencing may help?
make prisons a bad experience not a doss house and we may find that more people will be less willing to break the laws.
