Seeing true bravery and courage.
I recently spent 8 days in hospital, the man opposite was dyeing of bone cancer in his spine. He had decided to refuse pain killers so he could help test medication that would help and enhance the lives of children likely to suffer his fate.
Thats a brave man, thats real courage, I well up when I think about it.

Vulnerable orphaned children when I've had alcohol....The last thing that made me cry was when I was drunk and sat at home watching BBC News 24. They had a report from an orphanage somewhere poverty stricken and war torn in Africa where a brave and big hearted African woman set up and ran this orphanage. She was so loving to these little children and they loved her back and I was so moved I just started crying! I wouldn't normally do that. It was the alcohol removing my inhibitions.

I think just about anything can make you cry. It depends on what your emotional threshold and physical pain threshold can take. Some people cry because they are happy. I think what makes someone cry is just totally different for everyone.

When I see those that I care about hurt/suffering and I know there isn't a damn thing I can do about it.
Or losing someone (permanently or otherwise) it's a shock,it hurts, and when it comes that final moment of realization, the moment that you accept it's time to say goodbye, that's the moment that will have me breaking down, whether I show it or not.

Nothing. I can't cry.
I used to cry all the time, sometimes without even knowing why. Now nothing I can think of will make it happen.

depends on what touches me....sometimes when you get choked up is harder then just crying....for example ...when i broke up with my ex girlfriend man that was heart wrenching, you feel everything in that moment separation, maybe i am making a mistake etc....and orphan kids really get me talking to them, young and watching them deal with issues that adults couldn't bare...you have to have a stone for a heart not feel anything
