What I would suggest to find out what to charge is to call other companies in your area and have them come to your house and give you an estimate. Have your company truck somewhere else. Act like you really are interested. Have friends or family with different size houses do the same. Sound kinda unfair to the company coming out. That will give you a good ballpark! Actually I didn't do it that way. Other companies did it to me! The way I figured my prices, was to gradually raise my prices till customer choked. that was how I have the prices I have today. Remember most customers go for the lowest price, try to be a little cheaper than your competition. have all the bling bling ( license, insurance, etc.) that your competition has. Another word of advice! if you can get there quicker, even with a higher price. Chances are you will get the job! good luck!

you must evaluate your costs first.
Its called overhead.
Insurance, Local labor rates, cost of equipment and so on.
Once you have your costs targeted you can then come up with a rate to charge per hour per man.
Then do your estimates using the Labor, materials and equipment breakdown.
Add OH&P (overhead and profit)
Dont just guess do the work !

Just look at the job, estimate how long it would take you to do it. Then decide how much $$$ you want to make for your time and charge that amount.
