hello, at night my mind runs riot and stops me from falling to sleep easily, sometimes it takes ages, othertimes i spend what feels like all night tossing n turning. please can you recommend any herbal/natural remedies you've tried that helped you?

Herbal sleep remedies can be taken orally or sometimes as aromatherapy. I personally prefer teas and aromatherapy. If you like tea, try chamomile or green tea. Make sure that it's decaf. Most green teas are.

You can also put some lavender in your pillow, and the herbs should help you relax. They also sell lavender linen spray, which creates a similar effect.

Taking an aromatherapy bath before going to bed is also a great way to relax. For more information on this subject, read more here:

I have had that same problem. You need to get to the root of the problem. Something in your body is not functioning properly. My problem was my thyroid. Hope you get some sleep soon! You could try Calms Forte' by Hylands in the meantime.

you can try valerian root. it comes in a capsule that works good for me there is also chamomile, passion flower those are usually in tea form. lavender works in a satchel
