There are tons of places to eat in Disney. You have everything from counter-service meals that offer hamburgers and hot dogs, to character meals where Disney characters come to your table take pictures, etc. to fine dining. So, there is something for everyone.

To get an idea fo the cost, it will really depend on where you plan to eat. Disney meals can range from under $10 to more than $100 per person.

For breakfast, most people just bring some poptarts or other snacks you can just eat on the go. Or, if you will be staying offsite, running to Denny's or some place like that will really cut down on the cost. The least expensive option at Disney, for breakfast will usually be the food courts, fruits and things like that. Other than that the main options for Disney for breakfast are from $10 to $40, depending on what you do. But the very least you can plan to expect for breakfast, at Disney is around $10 or so.

For lunch, you again have different options. Some people just skip lunch and have an early dinner. At a counter-service you are looking to spend around $10 a person for the very basic and around $20 or more for something a little nicer.

Finally, for dinner you can always eat at the counter-service meals, or go to something a little different. But for a table-service meal you are looking to spend around $20 and up.

If you are staying onsite, you really should look into the dining plan. Adults (10 and up) are $38.99 and children 9 and under are $10.99 while children under 2 are free. It can really save you money and you can eat a table-service meal each day. It generally saves about 40% off of your dining.

The only way to save a lot of money dining at Disney is to bring some snacks with you, or bring a lunch, go off property to eat (which takes a lot of time and you will have to have a way to get around), you could also make some meals if you will have a kitchen in your room (which generally costs more) and you can eat at all counter-service meals. If you want to eat a nicer meal, you could always skip a meal and eat early, have a large breakfast before going to the park, then have some snacks and have a nice meal early evening. It isn't as convenient, but it can save you money.

Now, for how much to estimate to bring, that just depends on what you plan to eat. I would say that you are going to spend anywhere from $40 to over $100 a day on food. If your child doesn't eat much, you could always share food and that would help cut down on costs as well. Eating all three meals in the park every day can really add up, but it is a lot more convenient.

I've included some links with info on dining at Disney as well as some menus, that should give you a better idea.

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me. I go to Disney all the time and love to help.

Have a great time!

Hi there, If I were you I would budget around £40-50 a day on food, its even cheaper if you only have 2 meals rather than 3. Breakfast buffets are the best thing to do as you are full all day til tea time. You cant just go places n grab a snack like u do here, the portions are all so huge!!!! It is more expensive to eat in the parks but you cant get away from it really as you are not able to take food in. Except maye fruit etc that you could just put in your bags. My favourite places to eat are Shoneys for breakfast, Dennys for Lunch and a chinese buffett for tea or the Mining Company on 192 in Kissimmee is lovely!!!! I would just say take as much money as you can possibly afford!! For two of us we usually take abour £800 spending money each for two weeks but we buy our tickets before we go which brings the cost down. I must admit we dont always spend that amount it just depends on how often you wanna go out for meals and what souvenirs you buy.

Hope you have an amazing time, I'm sure you will!!! Its all worth it. x

Hi, yes there are hundreds of places to eat but as a rule of thumb it is dearer to eat on site at Disney, not compared to prices in the UK though, the best place to eat is in International drive as there is lots of choice if you get a chance check out Ponderosa it is $3.99 for all you can eat breakfasts and around $10 for a main meal which includes an all you can eat buffet. Is the third person a child as you can usually get free meals for under 5's. There are plenty of other places to eat ranging from McDonald's and burger king to Ming Garden which is an upmarket Chinese restaurant.
There is a really good book you could get called a Brit's Guide To Orlando which we found really help full as it gives you lots of tips on how to eat cheaply etc, failing that try and google restaurants in Orlando Florida, hope you have a good time and you will love it..

Plenty of food outlets in DisneyWorld but expect them to more expensive than normal outlets outside Disney. Try to eat outside before getting into the park. US$10 per head is the minimum you should cater for a meal in the park.
