I've known a few Mohammeds. Some of them went by their middle name.
Last year, Mohammed was the 22nd most popular name for baby boys in the UK.

there are thousands of good islamic names out there and you go for the most popular name in the world. i know a lot of mohammeds, and most of them go by their middle name or something completely different.

we musnt be too hard on you...but do you have any other ideas that are more original?
I have read that muslims must give their children good, strong names as one of the 5 pillars of islam but some mohammeds turn out quite bad.
Also as a healthcare professional, it gets quite confusing that there are so many mohammeds (muhamed, mohamed) out there.

It's Ok, but all the Mohammeds I've met are old men (I'm from Argentine, here is not so common).

Don't like it. It makes me think of that crazy movie Team America where they go around screaming "Dirka Dirka Mohammed Jihad." Of course if you haven't seen this movie you wouldnt understand, but it was stupid. Watch the movie, you'll see what I am talking about.

Mohammad is a beautiful name, why not? I like Omar, Sami, Zain, Adam, Zacki also nice muslim names. You like Muhammad go ahead.
