besides hot and humid (which is how south florida feels almost year-round..summer all year long!) watch out for the possibility of hurricanes.

Hurricane season doesnt officially end until november . Hurricanes hitting s. florida in september arent common but always be aware of that possibility.

Depends on where you're from. If you're coming from, say NY, you'll be able to take the humidity, but it really is hot. Think 90s but feels like 98(?) And I wouldn't worry too much about hurricanes, but it's always a possibility. Shorts weather. Bring summer clothes, plan for a tan.

That time of year, the weather doesn't behave at it's best.

I've been lucky - I've gotten high 80s and sunshine for most of the times I've gone.

That said, you're still in hurricane season - so you can get ANYTHING weather-wise. If it rains, it RAINS - six inches in an hour. If it's sunny, it can be humid.

the weather will be in the 80s with occasionally rain storms that only last a few minutes slight possibility of hurricanes but don't let that put you of Miami is a wonderful city and it really looks like CSI Miami shows.good luck.
