Yes, I have stayed at the All-Star Movies twice. For the price of the rooms, the All-Stars and Pop Century resorts, which are the Disney value resorts, are nice places to stay and get the true Disney experience.
On the plus side, the resorts are decorated in outstanding decor, and the themes are true to Disney, especially the Movies. The rooms are a little small, but very clean. The famous Disney service is alive and well. Whether you stay at the value resorts or the Deluxe, you are treated like a king. The pool at each is huge, and they have decent food at the food courts. Each has a gift shop where you can get snacks as well as presents for anyone, and a decent arcade room.
Drawbacks for these resorts are that they are geared towards the families, so there tends to be even more kids running around than you would expect being at Disney. Unlike the other resorts, I found these to be a bit on the noisy side. It didn't really bother me, as I have kids of my own. There is no sit down type restaurant for those that like that kind of dining.
All in all, if someone were to ask me if I recommend any of the All Star resorts, I say yes. They are an economical way to have a Disney vacation, with all of the perks that come with staying at a Disney resort. No matter which you choose, you can't go wrong.

Hope you have a great trip!!

The value resorts at Disney are very basic rooms and just offer something for the person wanting to stay in a budget and/or that doesn't plan to spend much time in their room. The rooms are a bit small, your food options are a rather limited, etc. But, it gives you a nice clean place to sleep.

All of the value resorts offer similar features and room sizes. The main difference between them is when they were built. Pop Century is your newest of the value resorts, followed by the Movies, Music and then Sports. Personally I've only stayed on night is each, just to see what they are like. The Sports was my least favorite, I liked Pop and Movies the best. The All Star Music resort does offer the family suites as well, which the other values don't offer. So, if you need two rooms for your familiy and/or want a little kitchen, it is nice.

The only problem I really noticed was that they can get a little noisy. Depending on when you will be going, the resorts attract more groups and famlies, so it can be a little louder.

In short, the value resorts are not going to have everything the moderates and dexlues have. But, you will get the same great service, a clean room and a nice place to sleep, it does the job just fine.

There are four Value resorts, the All Star Music, the All Star, Sports, the All star Movies, and the Pop Century. I have stayed at alll of them at least once. The Pop is my favorite, followed closely by the All Star Movies. They are also the most popular. First of all, the advantages of staying on site are numerous. You get to take the buses to the parks, instead of having to fight traffic and risk getting lost by driving yourself. You get to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, which allow you to go to one park each day an hour before opening, and another park each day up to three hours after closing. Also, staying at a value resort is good because 1) They are outstanding hotels 2)They have prompter bus service than many of the other on site hotels. 3) Kids love them. 4) There is not much difference between them and many of the moderate resorts. 5) They are always clean, like everything else in WDW. However, I'd reccommend purchasing the preferrend location rooms. They are worth the extra 20 dollars, putting you closer to the main lobby, food court, and buses, and sparing your legs that extra mile at the end of the day, (Believe me, it makes a difference!) Have fun, and hope this helps!

i've stayed at all star music and all star sports. they're not the biggest hotel rooms but you're not really there to spend all your time in the room anyway. they're very well kept,it's disney after all. and the the biggest advantage is because it's a disney hotel, you usually get into the parks an hour earlier than everybody else and sometimes get to stay later but check disney's website for specifics

"Each day, one of the Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing so Disney Resort Guests can enjoy access to select attractions — during the cooler parts of the day — while experiencing all the magic at an easy, more comfortable pace. Even better, Disney Water Parks offer Extra Magic Hours every morning!"

All celebrity is okay, i might propose the hot Pop century. it extremely is the maximum recent of the cost inns. All celebrity is a great place, Ive stayed there as quickly as, i comprehend it has a great pool and recreation section. it extremely is the oldest of the cost inns so it must be "warn" in spite of the undeniable fact that it remains dealt with and sparkling. Disney instruments a severe presentation extensive-unfold so not one of the inns are "undesirable". i grow to be in basic terms on the Pop hotel and that's extremely sparkling, huge swimming pools, extensive food court with a sort of food, and a astounding recreation room. bear in mind any Disney hotel is a solid hotel!! Disney treats all visitor with admire and keeps all rooms and inns and parks sparkling!!! have exciting
