I think it would also depend on if your new love has met your ex. If they get along and neither is the overly jealous type, stay where you are til your new relationship has shown promise of lasting. If your ex can handle your new love, and seems cool with it, maybe they can meet and it will reassure the new one that all is well. There is always a risk of falling back into old habits but that can happen whether you are still there or not.

Well, I guess it's better to listen to your new date. It's a little awkward that ex's live together, it will cause problems, and you never know, you might do something stupid with your ex, and your date finds out, so I suggest you move out, but stay friends with your ex, friendships can be very rewarding.

If and when your relationship changes as to where you and your new beau are ready to get a place of your own together, fine. As for now I see no reason for you to move.

What are his reasons for wanting you to move? Is it because you're sharing or because you're sharing with your ex?
My view is discuss and (hopefully) come to an agreement with your new love as to what you should do. You want to stay (why?) he wants you to move out (why?) look for middle ground.

Dude, don't move.......... !
My will is something sorted with his wish.
Muse not that I thus suddenly proceed,
For what I will, I will, and there an end.

I think you should think for yourself and if this arrangement is working out, then stay if you want to.

If you can manage it, good. I would think it would be odd, but everyone's situation is different.
