Sky and Virgin can't agree prices for Sky 1, 2 and 3 so they may be dropped from the service.
Virgin have been putting ads in the papers informing their customers of this, so it is either a tactic to restart negotiations or an admission that the channels will no longer be offered.

Hello,
(ANS) YES!! thats definately true, as far as I've seen. This issue has been splashed across alot of technology news sites. Virgin is going to drop a number of sky channels & movie channels that its shown for a while now, I'm NOT up on the precise reasons or thinking behined this issue.
I think its too do with the fact that Virgin are focusing more on bringing together its own diverse range of services. i.e. Virgin ISP and broadband (so movies could be streamed over the internet), virgin mobile, etc, etc.
**Obviously SKY wont be happy due to the loss of revenue's, customers and advertising income.

Yep, apparently they can't seem to agree a deal and therfore Virgin are withdrawing Sky One, Two and Three and Sky News and Sky Sports News by the end of February.

Apparently they are getting rid of Living TV as well. If you go to their website it says exactly what channels we won't have anymore. Also, apparently we wil have sky one now, as so many people complained about not having it.

I think Virgin stand to lose more in this deal. I will probably move from Virgin (ex NTL) to Sky
