I am not interested in dictionary or traditional definitions. If you define yourself as Liberal what do you think it means? Please do not define it by describing what it is not for. State, instead, what you think it is in favor of.

Liberals believe in using the collective resources to pursue the common good.

Example: Student loans. By using federal resources (tax money) to create a student loan programs, more young people will go to college and get the technical training required to contribute to the economy.

In this way, the federal government plays a role in the nation's economic development.

Wow, not a decent answer here!

I liked the one who calls Student Loans a "liberal defination".......LMAO!

The other two are clearly all hopped up on da veed. Our country is doomed to destruction when all these zeros are only intrested or their biggest goal in life is a tattoo and a tongue bolt!

Maybe several body piercings as well!

At least I'll never have to worry about geting outed in the work force as these 'rods will never even make it out of their 40's with a job higher than Asst. Mgr from a fast food joint.

No wonder China, Japan, Indian, Germany, and several other countries are kicking our asses given the low level goals our American kids.
