Just heard on the news that he was 'delighted' to see Dame Helen Mirren pick up the award. I know I'm being cynical, but could he have kept it to himself and tell us about the future of Afghanistan?

Whilst I agree that the future of Afghanistan is of paramount importance, especially to the Afghan people and to the overseas' personnel deployed there, even the PM has to have a little light relief on occasion!

I hate to be cynical as well, but perhaps a jump on some bandwagon or other is what he may need now. And this is in his adult years and not something that happened when he was about 10, but told us all he was at whatever rock concert it was.

my dear chap prime minister tony blair is a queen !, so yes he has seen the queen everytime he / she looks in the mirror ! as for the rest who cares !just a means to an end economically. plus thins the herd of viable males and leaves more females for the rest of us !

Yes I think Mr Blair saw the Queen on Cinema in Knightsbridge, but people kept on moaning because he was in front row and his hand motions were distracting in front of the screen.

Why do you think he should work 24 hours a day ? Think the mess he would make of everything if that were the case - I'm glad he's watching films cause it means he's not looking at ways to tax me more.

No, I think it was great he acknowledged such a teriffic actress. He was probably asked about it and just answered. She looked stunning last night, that dress was so flattering!
