They are length, width and depth, generally called the x, y and z axis in geometry and other schools of mathematics.
As an interesting addition to your question, humans are actually fourth dimensional. We move through length, width, depth and time. It's just that we only have control over the first three dimensions, while our passage through the fourth dimension is currently beyond our control.

Backwards and forward, left and right, up and down. To put it simply.
1 dimension is a line, 2 is a square (for example) and 3 is a cube. Hence a cube is a 3D shape. 3 dimensions.

The 4th dimension is usually referred to as time. The other 3 refer to the 3 dimensions we percieve space in (x, y and z on a graph)

Have a look at yourself - you have height, width and depth. Those are the three spatial dimensions.
Time is not a dimension - it is inextricably linked with space to become space-time. That is the 4th dimension.

the first dimension is what is there, the second is seeing it in front of you, the third is seeing around it and the fourth is being in it. i just made all that up, makes sense to me though i think.
